Bjuvs kommun har beviljats EU-projektmedel, tillsammans med projektdeltagare från Danmark, Polen, Tyskland och Litauen ur SouthBaltic Interreg programme. Projektägare är Energikontoret i Skåne.
UBIS: Urban Baltic Industrial Symbiosis
The overall idea of UBIS revolves around the challenge of energy saving and reuse of energy waste. To tackle these challenges, the project focuses on initiating industrial symbiosis through cooperation between companies, utilities and municipalities.
“Industrial symbiosis” refers to a closed cycle of re-using one organisation’s by-product as resource in another organisation.
